***    Fairy Ring Mushrooms received their name because of the peculiar way they grow, in large circles or rings. Legend told that fairies gathered in the rings on summer's eves and that if one waited quietly they may catch a glimpse.

Company Profile

Our company founders, Loren Parlee, Lonnie Murphy, and Andrea Murphy  have combined experience in the arts of over 80 years.  We are skilled woodworkers, and artisans.  We have a passion for creating durable and beautiful crafts.  Our love of form and color are paramount in our painting.  It is important to us that our products become as personal to our customers as they were to us as they were crafted.

Products

DRUMS

    

Our drums are hand-crafted from start to finish.  We use top quality cowhide stretched over our hand-made basswood, cedar and redwood frames.  Each drum has a soft-leather handle, and comes with a beater.

FLUTES

Our flutes are handcrafted with the best woods available.  They are bored, tooled, turned on a lathe, precisely tuned, and finished off with stains and oils.  Some of our flutes are inlaid with copper or silver.  Custom flutes are available.  Please e-mail or call us with inquiries about a custom flute.

 

FINE ART
